NIGHTSTALKER SYNOPSIS
Angelina was an experiment: half Landian and half vampire. Landa's ruler, K'Stan, wanted to use her against the human inhabitants of the planet Sparta. The Church had other ideas.
Angelina is rescued at age two to be trained by the Church to hunt and destroy rogue vampires in the capital city Provine, which they see as a more immediate threat than K'Stan.
With the help of her dragonier partner Tanner, Angelina has destroyed many rogues over the years, but not the one she really wants: Rogan, the vampire K'Stan used to turn her father and then forced him to father her.
When a Landian attack destroys the city Patra, killing one hundred thousand people and plunging Sparta into war, Angelina and Tanner fear Rogan would travel to Patra to attempt to take control of the remaining vampires. Although citizens of Sparta, vampires are not permitted to feed without permission and Rogan cares little for laws. The Patran survivors would be ripe for his sick brand of tyranny.
Leaving Provine without the Church's permission could place Angelina on the Church's rogue list, but she's ready to take the chance in order to protect the survivors of Patra from Rogan. Tanner supports her decision and calls in his werewolf friend, Mick Russo, to help them since he had lived in Patra at one time. Tanner also has his own reasons for accompanying her: he's been in love with her for years and intends to use the time to make her his.
None of them are prepared for the carnage they find in Patra or the fact Rogan is more powerful than they knew and has no problem killing innocent people to get what he wants.
